I will be hanging out at Gould Evans on May 14th from 4 to 8 PM meeting with voters and talking about the future of KC. This is part of a cool candidate meet and greet hosted by the Westport Regional Business League. More from the organizers:

The businesses and property owners of Westport (92% locally owned and operated) are partnering with several of the surrounding neighborhood associations to hold a “Meet the Candidates” event on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 5pm to 8pm. We are inviting all candidates still on the ballot for city-wide election (Mayor and At-Large City Council) or for election to the 4th District In-District Seat to participate.

The format of this event will place each candidate at a different Westport business (all of which will be within easy walking distance from each other). No location will host more than one candidate. Attendees will be encouraged to meet (and hopefully visit for a few moments) with the respective candidates at the different locations. Issues discussed will be determined by those that attend as they greet the candidates. Each business host or hostess for a candidate will set aside an area where 8 to 10 people at a time could easily gather to visit with the candidate at that location.
